The Museum has a diverse selection of incredibly flexible catering options that can range from simple refreshments throughout your conference through to a huge banquet inside of our vast hangar space.
Museum Catering and External Catering Options
The Museum NAAFI Restaurant
For both receptions and parties the Elvington Room and the adjoining NAAFI Restaurant are allocated to your event to create a large and flexible space.
They are located in the centre of the Museum alongside our original Control Tower and are permanently connected into a single complex by an adjoining walkway.
The Elvington Room is an authentic period building, with a domed roofline and provides a self contained facility with a main entrance, WC and central heating for your dinner or reception.
The NAAFI Restaurant has a double purpose. Visitor’s restaurant by day or disco by night… The space is large enough to change the set up to match your event requirements, from an award diner, Christmas lunch or to a buffet and disco.
Dance all night under your chosen atmospheric coloured light either with a jazz band or DJ. Probably the most popular part of utilising the NAAFI restaurant is… It has got is very own WWII cash bar, fully run by staff bartender who will be happy to serve cold or hot drinks.
With a length and width of 26m x 8.45 m and height of 2.57 m at it’s highest point, this gives a large, versatile space (27.8 x 85.3 = 2371.40 square feet). The room can hold from up to 10 to 190 guests in comfort
